You are a Case Manager at the agency and have been asked by your supervisor to speak on the topic of networking for the next orientation session. Your written speech should include the purpose, goals and methods of networking as they relate to case management. Also include how networking occurs in different locations, such as:

Within the agency
With other agencies
With colleagues professionally

Option #2: Ending Client Services

After providing case management services for José over the past six months, José is now working regularly and has been connected with services which provide food and housing assistance for the entire family. There are only two more meetings scheduled with José and you are preparing for your next discussion with him. Consider the following scenarios for José and provide your notes for talking to him in each scenario below:

José met his goals and will end services.
José did not meet his goals and will be transferred to another agency and Case Manager for ongoing job services.
José has shared an additional need for transportation and then he will be able to end services.

Include an essay with plans on how you will follow-up with José after your work together ends and why having a formal end to services is important in Case Management.
