You should imagine that you still work for either the DNC or RNC (previous writing assignment attached) , and you have now been tasked with creating
two digital ads (see the example on next page) for the 2024 general election cycle and a
brief explanation of who you are targeting and how you chose the content in your ad.
The minimal requirements for your digital ads are:
● Ad must include at least one image (image example attached)
● Ad must include at least two claims, facts, or arguments
● Ad must contain a source for claims, facts, or arguments
● Ad must contain fewer than 100 total words (not counting source citation)
● Each ad must target a different group of voters, i.e. you can’t create two ads
targeting the exact same group
You may find this easiest to complete by using a slide show presentation program like
PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides, or Prezi, but you are welcome to go beyond these.
For each ad, you should also provide a written explanation that includes the following:
● Who the ad targets
● Why this target group is important to your party’s success in 2024
● What evidence you have that this group would respond positively to the message
in the ad
● At least two source citations for each explanation in APA format
● 350 to 500 words per explanation (total of 700 to 1,000 words excluding source
citations)
The format/ordering of your document should be:
1. First ad
2. Explanation of first ad (300 to 500 words)
3. Reference page for first ad and explanation
4. Second ad
5. Explanation of second ad (300 to 500 words)
6. Reference page for second ad and explanation
