Introduction
The technology architecture involves the management of the components that make up the IT infrastructure of an organization. The IT infrastructure includes network components, network storage, server operating systems, server applications, and user devices. The enterprise architecture is used to provide an infrastructure that will meet the business requirements of the organization and the IT requirements of all of the stakeholders who make up the organization.
In order to manage technology successfully, it is important for an enterprise architecture plan to address questions regarding the organization structure, that is, the goals, stakeholders, processes/functions, technology used, and so forth within an organization.
This week, you review the components and technologies that compose the technical infrastructure of an organization, the importance of enterprise architecture, and various enterprise architecture frameworks and approaches.

For this Assignment, complete the Progress Report document (which you should have retrieved from the Week 3 Learning Resources area) that details the status of your proposal. Include notes on any areas where you have the least confidence in your ability to find answers. You also update your project plan to reflect any schedule changes.
Next, write a one-page executive summary memo to your board of directors. Indicate what you have accomplished, what problems you are experiencing, and any concerns you have. Include whether you are on schedule to deliver the proposal in Week 8. If you are behind schedule, briefly explain why and when you expect to be back on schedule.
This is your last progress report. A draft of your written proposal is due next week.
