AL 58 y/o male with chronic medical disorders. Today he is coming for red skin on his right leg. He denied another symptom. Patient with DM type. A1c decreased from 13.2 to 8.2. Since 2 days ago he starts feeling pain in his right ankle. On today’s assessment, his ankle is hot to the touch, swollen, and red. Suspected cellulitis. Will start on Rocephin 1g IM for 3 days. Referral for Doppler US to rule out DVT. Follow up in 1 week.
