Given the benefits technology has afforded us, consider the harmful consequences that time has revealed about technology. Investigate some technologies that have affected the environment. Present a supported argument on a technology has had the most significant positive impact on the environment or a technology that has had the most significant negative impact. In your response, discuss whether or not you believe that we need to evaluate future technologies to minimize environmental risk and if sustainability should play a deciding role in future technologies. Is there a need for regulations, or can the free market better mitigate risks?
In your responses to classmates, take the opposite perspective that they present and present your own counterargument.
