Practice speech preparation steps seven through nine which are wording a speech, constructing a conclusion and introduction, and rehearsing your speech.
Instructions:
For this assignment, students will prepare and submit a speech outline on one of the following topics:
Effective communication vs. miscommunication in social media and tips for positive interpersonal interactions
Nonverbal communication in patient/provider care: Does it impact quality of care?
Share advice on any class topic with future classmates who will be taking our 1310 course.
Be sure to use the attached template for submitting your paper which should include the following parts:
students should incorporate the first six steps of preparing a speech, including
selecting a topic,
analyzing your audience,
research your topic, collect supporting materials, developing main points, and organizing your speech materials into a 2 – page outline of a speech
(note: you do not actually have to give the speech, you will submit the speech outline as your assignment).
