The purpose of this assignment is for us to consider our current reading way and strategies. Basic question: What do you like to read and why? What kinds of stories interest you? How do you read literature? Do you read for the story line? Or, are are primarily interested in characters, their motivations and their behaviors? Or, perhaps, you do not have a strategy at all (that is OK too) What do you find difficult when reading literature? What kinds of stories, authors, and plots attract you? By the way, for the purposes of this post, by “literature,” we mean not only the classics but all fiction, poetry, plays, and creative non-fiction such as biographies, history books, etc., you like to read.
